Removal of a fallen tree

After a strong overnight storm, we were called to assist a homeowner in Chaldon. A rotten tree from the side of the house had been blown over and was resting on the roof, threatening to damage the property if not swiftly removed.

With the help of a cherry picker, we started by removing every branch that wasn’t touching the building, to release as much tension as we could from the roof. Having done that, we were able to aid the root system of the tree and lift it clearly away from the house.

The total damage was 1 cracked tile.
